📋 How to Use This Tool
- Enter Patient Name: Type the patient's last name in the field above
- Start Recording: Click the "Start Recording" button OR say "CV Start Recording" (microphone must be enabled)
- Speak Your Notes: Clearly dictate your clinical observations and notes
- Stop Recording: Click the button again OR say "CV Stop Recording" to stop and automatically transcribe
- Voice Commands: Use hands-free commands - "CV Start Recording" and "CV Stop Recording" work without touching the screen
- Review Transcription: The transcribed text will appear in the "Current Transcription" box
- Save to Patient: Click "Save Note to Patient" to add the note with date/timestamp
- View All Notes: Select a patient from the dropdown to view their complete note history
- Export Notes: Download patient notes as text file or print for records
⚠️ Browser Compatibility: This tool uses the Web Speech API for voice recognition. It works best in Chrome, Edge, and Safari browsers. Make sure to allow microphone access when prompted.
🎤 Voice Commands: After allowing microphone access, you can use these commands:
- "CV Start Recording" - Begin recording notes
- "CV Stop Recording" - End recording
- "CV Scroll Down" - Scroll down 25% of page (slow speed)
- "CV Scroll Up" - Scroll up 25% of page (slow speed)
