Methodology and HIPAA-Aware Design
ChiroVision is engineered around a single principle: patient images never leave the practitioner's computer. All image decoding, annotation, overlay computation, range-of-motion math, and DICOM rendering happens inside the browser sandbox on the chiropractor's own machine. The ChiroVision servers do not store, transmit, or back up patient images. This local-only processing model is the foundation of our HIPAA-aware design.
The clinical logic was specified by Dr. Eric Hal Feintuch, a chiropractor with more than forty years of practice and tens of thousands of films read. Measurement tools, reference angles, and patient-education visualizations reflect how chiropractors actually read and explain films, not how software engineers imagine they do.
